Welcome to The Samita Lab.
This is a 12 month mastermind to lay the foundation for and get your goals for 2022. We ask the important question "Who do you need to become?"
Theme: Goals
6:30-8:30PM EST
Meeting VIRTUAL

6:30-6:45pm 15 minutes Share your wins since we last met (4 minutes each)
6:45-7:30pm THE PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT EXERCISE. GOAL SETTING
Yearly
Weekly
I like to sit down on Sundays to do a post-mortem. Some like to do this on a Friday.
Based on your monthly goals, what are the top three things you need to do each week? Rank them in order of importance.
Daily
I like to get a planner that lists out the day hour by hour. The night before, can you lay out the top three things you need to do that move the needle? Ideally, these support the weekly goals.
These are optional questions
Who do you need to be?
Examples
Jennifer Lopez used to repeat positive words to herself daily, for 15 minutes every day. She credits it for where she got to today, with her wildly successful singing career.
Will Smith practiced positive thinking. He says, "In my mind, I've always been an A-list Hollywood superstar. Y'all just didn't know yet."
Watch this video of Oprah interviewing Jim Carrey. He used to sit on a hill above his hometown, and took out a check he had written himself to the tuen of $10M dollars for 'acting services rendered.' He would sit and say to himself 'everyone wants to work with me. I am a highly successful actor' over and over again.
He dated it specifically for Thanksgiving 1995, three years ahead. Find out what happens when you attach a goal to a specific date.
Take a look at Debra's revenue calculator https://thegreatdoover.com/pricing-calcuator/. For example, Divya can list the top three activities that generated the most revenue in 20211. What was the price point, percentage of revenue? Zeena can list the top three offerings at Osteostrong.
What was your our close rate for each outbound query? How many outreaches will you have to make a month, or a week to get that out of state property? or that revenue goal for Osteostrong?
7:30-7:50pm. Hotseat
Give us background information:
7:50-8:15 Workshopping Zeena, Nidhi, Divya's current challenges
8:15-8:25 PM
The dates are approximate. I will share the screen and lets discuss dates, hotel and activities!
8:25-8:30pm
Commitments
Homework: Make a Completion board or a BRAG BOOK. It includes
things you accomplished. We make 'Completion boards' and 'Brag Books' to connect the impossible with what's already been possible
Make it online. Keeping your data in the cloud makes it easy to find and recover your data in case you lose your laptop, phone, or physical notebook.
Record your work accomplishments, awards, wins, and even affirmations or quotes from your colleagues. Make this a central place to keep key milestones across your personal and professional life. You can reference it when you’re building a resume, interviewing for a new job, getting on a sales call, or even when you need a morale boost.
Here are a few things you can include. Remember to be detailed.
Anytime you hit or exceed a goal
Anytime a client, co-worker, boss, friend, (really anyone) says something positive about you
Note: As soon as this happens, your next question needs to be “Can I quote you on that?”
Any awards, certifications, and recognition you received
Anytime you went above and beyond your core job description to provide value.
How many?
Examples: calls were you making in a day, tickets were you closing, processes did you implement?
Try to be as quantifiable as possible. Showing numbers and statistics will hold much more weight when you detail your accomplishments. Basically, what did you do and by how much?
What did I increase?
Examples: revenue, brand recognition, customer satisfaction
What did I decrease?
Examples: support tickets, costs, overhead.
When the time comes, quantifiable data will help you show your value in the best possible way.
Note: If you aren’t able to find quantifiable data, be sure to add the skills it took to complete your goal
Afterwards, think about
• Why was it important to you?
• What were the actions you took?
List at least three. You will see a pattern.
