THIS MONTH'S EXERCISE

6:45-7:00  Time log exercise: Break your life down into 3 year increments, starting at 18.  See worksheet below

  • For example 18-21; 22-25; and so on, through 45-50. 
  • Write EVENTS – things that happened-- corresponding to each time increment
  • For example – 18-21 graduated from college, 22-25;  got married, first job
  • List the theme that defined each time increment
  • After you reach your current age, do one segment more. Add events you want to happen in the following 3 years
  • Now here is the important part: Circle 3 – 5 pivotal moments you believe have been most critical to your success. What do they all have in common? You might be surprised to find out

BONUS: STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES EXERCISE

7:00-7:15PM Strengths/Weaknesses exercise (We will do this based on time)

You want to start to design a profile of the person you MUST become to achieve your goals! However before you can do that you have to look at yourself up to this point and understand who you are and what your current traits are.

List your strengths and weakness, this will give you an idea of where you are at right now! Don’t be afraid to be brutally honest with yourself, but don’t be unfair and beat yourself up....

What are your strengths? Examples:

  • Hard working
  • Self-Motivated
    Learn and apply quickly
  • Passionate about life

What are your weaknesses?

  • Can’t focus or concentrate for long
  • Get down when things don’t go my way
  • Not disciplined with my health and diet
  • I seem to work at a slower pace than others

Track your habits for a week

HOW TO TRACK YOUR HABITS

  • Use the notes section in your phone or get a small note pad & pen – carry it around with you all the time for a week.

  • Track everything from spending, eating, exercise, sleep and what you do all throughout the day...Yes even if you are doing nothing – TRACK IT!

• Track what you do every 30 minutes.

• Write down habits in your workbook at
the end of the day or week and see for yourself where you are spending your time and efforts.

AT THE END OF THE WEEK YOU WILL HAVE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING ON THE FOLLOWING:

  • What you do each and every day.

  • • When you do it.

  • Why you do what you do.

  • How you do it.

    NOTE: There is no right or wrong when tracking your habits and routines. The main thing is to measure and understand what you are doing now, so you can make changes that will allow you to perform at a higher level in the future.

What are Current habits?

  • 2 hours at night watching Netflix Eat cereal full of sugar for breakfast
  • Rushing around in the morning- late for work most days
  • Waste 40 minutes a day gossiping around water cooler

What are new habits you can establish?

  • Reading a book – work on new business idea
  • Green drink or fresh fruit for breakfast
  • Wake up 30 min earlier – plan and prepare night before
  • More focused and make phone calls and be productive
