Why Istanbul?

I've got a fascination with boats.

This August, we have chartered a gulet, which is a native form of boat made in Bodrum Turkey. August 12-19th, we sail the Turkish Turquoise Coast.

There are no direct flights to Fethiye, where the vessel is moored. So we will be spending a few days in stunning Istanbul.   I'm terribly excited to share this 3 day, 2 night VIP DAY itinerary, created just for you while there.

We will be in the Galata district, whose cosmopolitan beginnings date back to the 13th century when members of the Silk Route established a main trading colony there. By the 14th century, Istanbul’s wealthiest Jewish families  settled in Galata.

Istiklal Street is the busiest in the city, comparable to traffic we see on Fifth Avenue or Oxford Street in London. The stretch features bohemian shops, cafes, restaurants, live music, and bars.

The focal point of Galata is the Tower, with a spectacular view of the Bosphorus.

You take care of flight. I take care of everything once you are here.
